Life feels harder when our mental health isn’t doing so well. We can frequently feel depressed or teary, as well as hopeless and worn out. We could experience excruciating stress or persistent worry about horrible things happening to us or the people we love. These are all extremely typical occurrences.
We may not have as much energy for tasks like job or education, “life admin,” and taking care of others if we are depressed, anxious, or agitated. It can be challenging to persevere.
If we experience this for a while, it may indicate that something else is not right in our lives or that we require assistance. If we have experienced a significant loss or shock, such as a bereavement, unemployment, divorce, or a serious health issue, it is also a natural reaction.
Some things are simpler to fix than others, and some issues can be out of our control. Sometimes we need assistance with our mental health or the circumstances we are facing, such as financial or relationship issues. The sooner we receive support in these circumstances, the better.
